Intakhab Alam Khan
In addition to over 65 research papers and articles in as wide areas as Education, Pedagogy,
Professional Development, Philosophy, Educational Administration and English Language Teaching
published in National and International/refereed journals, Dr Intakhab Alam Khan has over a dozen of
books to his credit published in India and abroad. Besides attending a two-week intensive training
programme of teacher education (train the trainer course) in the UK, Dr Khan has presented research
papers in various conferences held in the UK, China, Turkey and Malaysia. He has completed many
research projects sponsored by King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, KSA. Dr Khan is honorary Editor
/Associate Editor / Asst Editor / Reviewer of several international online/print journals published from
Canada, USA, Pakistan, Switzerland, Thailand and India. Educated at Aligarh Muslim university and
Jamia Millia Islamia, Dr Khan began his teaching career from Faculty of Education, Jamia Millia
Islamia, New Delhi, he is now at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, KSA.
A Naseeb Khan
With a collection of poems Rip Not the Sore published from Writers Workshop, Kolkata, A
Naseeb Khan has his Ph.D. thesis on translation of modern Urdu poetry into English and M. Phil.
Dissertation on Khushwant Singh and A. J. Arberry’s translations of Iqbal’s twin poems Shikwa aur
Jawab-e Shikwa. He has to his credit several translated and edited volumes, including the translation of
Maut ki Kitab (The Book of Death) an Urdu novel, a monograph on Moin Ahsan Jazbi, published by
Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi and translation of Ghalib’s Urdu poetry included in The Evoltuion of
Ghalib, published by Rupa, New Delhi. He has taught English at King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA.
Currently he is working as the Principal, Syed Abid Husain Senior Secondary School, Jamia Millia
Islamia, New Delhi, India.
Dr Anis Jahan (M.A.in English, M.Ed. and Ph D), is associate professor in the department of
Education, AMU Aligarh, UP, India. Her area of interest is Educational Psychology. Lambert
Academic publishing-Germany, recently published her book in the area of Educational Psychology. An
editor of European Journal of Literature, Language and Linguistic Studies, Dr Jahan has also authored
articles/papers in online international journals.
An integral part of the system of education, Educational Administration emerged as an
independent discipline in the mid 1970s. Concerned specifically with management and
operation to run an organization / institution, it can be conveniently termed as ‘filament’ of
education without which the bulb of education can’t be lighted.
